Adobe Reader

Many websites, including the DAISY website (www.dmcdental.com), allow you to view "PDF" documents that can be printed. These documents include:

• User Guides and Helpsheets
• Forms
• Brochures
• Newsletters

The DAISY website has many "PDF" documents that you can view/print, but only if you have Adobe Reader. This is a free program that allows you to view and print "PDF" files, and can be installed from www.adobe.com.

Install the Current Version of Adobe Reader:

1. Click the following link: www.adobe.com. The Adobe web site will open on your web browser.

2. Click the Get Adobe Reader button, located in the upper left area.

3. Click Continue, located in the upper right. (NOTE – It is not necessary to install any additional "included" software, such as "Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition". Uncheck any boxes on the web page for any additional "included" software prior to clicking Continue.)

4. Click the Download Adobe Reader button, located in the upper right. (NOTE – It is not necessary to install any additional "included" software, such as "Google Toolbar". Uncheck any boxes on the web page for any additional "included" software prior to clicking Download Adobe Reader.)

5. Follow the on-screen instructions, selecting the option to run/open/install when prompted. (NOTE – The amount of time the installation takes depends on your connection speed; DAISY recommends using a high speed DSL or CABLE internet connection, as the installation file is rather large.

6. Restart your computer prior to using Adobe Reader.
