Symantec
Products
WARNING!
DAISY
has seen a significant increase in calls related to problems with the new
line of Symantec products.
Due
to these problems with Symantec’s new release of their software, DAISY cannot
recommend the new Symantec products as a safe and reliable antivirus/firewall
solution. If you are considering upgrading or purchasing a Symantec product
such as Norton Antivirus 2008, Norton Internet Security 2008 or Norton 360,
please contact DAISY first so that we may discuss alternate options.
If
you are currently using a version of this product without any difficulties,
you may continue to do so. However, please note that when it is time to renew
your virus definition subscription you should ONLY RENEW your
subscription. DO NOT UPGRADE
from a previous version to 2008 or you run the risk of potential problems.
If
you have any questions about this, please contact DAISY support prior to
updating or renewing.
