Clarification
We
recently sent the following information in Business Matters, concerning Oregon
Pain Management Commission Training:
"The
Oregon Board of Dentistry website link below includes information regarding
an introduction to the pain management domain in Oregon. Please note
that the majority of licensed health care professionals are required to
complete the presentation as a portion of a continuing education requirement
in pain management. This presentation must be completed within 24
months of your first license renewal after January 1, 2006."
Oregon
dentists only need to complete the one hour tutorial.

Important
Reminder!
It
is of the utmost importance that you run Daily Closing every day that you use DAISY. The Daily Closing process includes
a backup of your DAISY data. In the event of hardware failure or data
problems, your DAISY backup is your only
copy of patient data. If you don't backup your data, you risk losing your
data.

version 3.3 update packets have been mailed to all users running DAISY 3.0 or
higher. If you haven't already done so, please install this update. After
installing, be sure to input your NPI information into DAISY. This will
ensure that ALL claims contain NPI information, including claims you print at
the office.
Remember
– Effective May 23, 2008, the NPI must be present on all dental claims you
send. Otherwise, the claims will be rejected.
NOTE:
