Tip of the Week
DAISY Chart Update A
DAISY update (version 3.2) will be sent to all Daisy Chart users (Hard Tissue
and Perio Chart users) in the near future. Look for it to arrive by mail
soon. Things to look forward to include: Hard Tissue Chart -Easier
to configure buttons and tabs -create
prescriptions and medical alerts directly from the chart -chart
completed procedures without adding to Tx Plan first Perio Chart -date/time
fields allow back-dating of exam at a later date -exam
detail is more flexible; accessible from other areas Hard Tissue and
Perio Chart -revision
tracking on all clinical notes Scheduling -configurable
"primary phone" number for patient appointments Important! Please
call DAISY prior to installing non-DAISY programs on your DAISY system.
Installing non-DAISY programs can potentially cause problems with your
existing DAISY software and/or hardware. DAISY
cannot support 3rd party software, as we cannot control how the
software is installed and configured. DAISY
offers Microsoft Word, AVG (Antivirus software), as well as
current hardware systems optimized to run DAISY with power and efficiency. If
you are interested in upgrading or replacing your DAISY computers, call us
for detailed information about software and hardware options. We guarantee support
for all equipment purchased from DAISY. Windows Vista Microsoft
recently released the latest version of the Windows operating system – Windows Vista. At this time, DAISY
does not support Windows Vista. DAISY programs do not
recognize Windows Vista as a
compliant operating system. We also cannot guarantee that other
hardware devices or other business software programs that you rely on will
perform as expected. When
testing of DAISY running on Windows
Vista is complete, we will notify you which version(s) of Windows Vista DAISY will require in
order to perform properly. DAISY
will support Windows Vista in the future. Watch future Business Matters

upcoming training sessions, covering: - Advanced Scheduling/Availability
and Time-Off features - (Web-based training
session.) - Claims Management - (On-site training session
at the DAISY The dates are as follows: Friday, March 16th
– Claims Management 9:00am – 12:00pm Tuesday, April 17th
– Advanced Scheduling 1:00pm – 2:00pm Friday, May 18th
