Situation

A patient has requested a list of all claims billed to insurance for his 2006 services.

 

Solution

Run the Claims Summary report, filtered by patient and service date range:

 

1.   Open the Report Gallery and locate the Claims Summary report. A default copy is located in the Claims/Insurance folder.

2.   Right-click the report icon, choosing Properties.

3.   Click Reset.

4.   Filter the Service Date tab for is in the period PriorCalendarYear.

5.   Filter the Patient tab for the desired patient.

6.   Click OK.

7.   Double-click the report icon to generate the report on-screen. Print the report from the DAISY Report Viewer.

 

Additional Info

Filtering the report as described will show all claims from 2006, regardless of their status. You can filter additionally for specific claim status (e.g.- paid, cancelled, denied, etc.) via the Status tab to refine your results.
