Tip of the Week

 

Situation

I need to locate unpaid claims from 2006 for rebilling or follow up.

 

Solution

Use the Claim Aging report, filtering for the desired service date range.

 

1.  Locate the Claim Aging report in the Report Gallery. A default copy of the report is located in the Claims/Insurance folder.

2.  Right-click on the report icon, choosing Properties.

3.  Click the Reset button.

4.  Click the Claim Service Date tab. Filter for is in the period PriorCalendarYear.

5.  Click OK

6.  Double-click the report icon to view it on-screen. Print the report from the DAISY Report Viewer.

 

Additional Info

The Claim Aging report only displays claims with a status of Open or Part-Paid.

 

The Claim Aging report is alphabetically sorted by patient name. Use the Claim Aging by Insco report (filter as described above) if you want the list sorted alphabetically by insurance company.
